Elspeth and I had a photo session a couple of weeks ago. You know that feeling when you are proud of someone after only one conversation or a short time together? We had 1 hour together before Brisbane went into a snap 3 day lockdown and the hour was jam packed with conversation, photos, and potent connected energy. It was so good.We continued our conversations for a couple of days after, the session high was that good. Last night "Reclaimation" Elspeth’s art exhibition had it's gallery opening. Last week I spent time with these two beautiful ladies (and Tom- dad).

I went to the hairdresser today and it was glorious. My absolute favourite part is laying back in the reclining massage chair and having my hair washed, I get goosebumps every time. Women regularly spend money on experiences. They make an appointment, have the money set aside or are willing to add the amount to the credit card, for the hour or so of no distractions, of being in a bubble of self. Having their hair colored, cut, styled, laying on a bed relaxing with a facial, or massage, having eye brows, lashes shaped or applied. All of these experiences guided by professionals that provide the service to see ourselves differently, a new way of facing the world. Photography is another experience of seeing yourself, through the lens of someone that you have trusted deeply for an hour or so, an experience with a professional who invests all their attention on you. On capturing your image and delivering tangible evidence of your energy, your beauty, you.
